A bit small
I was looking for a carrier that could be run either slick or with placards. I chose the Rampage 2.0 because of the price and its smooth look. I will be using the carrier will instructing at a range, so I don't need a full loadout. When I got the carrier, I was surprised at how small it was. I'm 5'8"/220, so I know that I usually need to order things in the XL size. Well, the cummerbund isn't XL, barely seems like L. I let the elastic about 90% of the way out, and the cummerbund fits pretty well, but there is still about 1.5" of Velcro on either side of the front panel that does not attach. I know that I'm not askinny person, but I felt that this cummerbund was made for someone half my size. This would also be an issue for someone who had a huge chest/upper body from working out. The solution is pretty simple- let buyers have a choice of cummerbund sizes when they order the carrier. Instead of spending an extra $50-$200 for an aftermarket/replacement cummerbund and having a useless one hanging around, let us bigger people order what we need to begin with. Other than that, the carrier is well made and comfortable. I've got swimmer plates in mine, and they sit nicely in the pouches. The stitching is even and there are no loose threads. Overall, this is a great product, it just needs to come with a cummerbund sizing option.

Great Fit
Love the carrier, great fit and easily adjusted. Had one question so I called in and spoke with Derek who helped and gave great customer service. I will be doing business with these guys again. Thanks for a great product and experience.

for the little people
I’m on the shorter side which this plate carrier is perfect for if your below 6’ this is the carrier for you it’s minimalistic but modular I’m running this carrier with lvl 4 rma plates and esstac mag pouches this is perfect for shtf and you need to move

comferable but small
It is a lot smaller than I realized. It’s a comfortable plate carrier. But small. It is nearly impossible to use the built in mag pouches. Just a weird position. If you don’t have thinker plates it sits weird on your chest at least for me. It is really tough material. Well put together besides the mag pouches. I would like to try a different version of Shellback.

Very happy with how this carrier looks and feels. Can't wait for the plates to come in

Really nice carrier.
I really like this carrier. The value for your money is very hard to beat. Very comfortable, good weight distribution. Very good fit and adjustability. A big upgrade from my Condor MOPC. It took me a little while to get it adjusted right. It was having a tendency to ride up in the front. I thought raising the back plate to a higher level than the front, so the front would have a lower center of gravity, would help. But it turned out to actually be the opposite. The back plate needed to sit slightly lower so it rested against the natural curve of my spine. It’s still relatively level with the front plate, so it still offers the protection of the needed areas. A word on plate figment. I have lvl III steel plates with a spall blocker and trauma bad combination wrapped around it. It’s somewhat thick but not crazy or anything. It was an extremely tight fit. Had to somewhat force them in. The pockets have stretched some so it is much easier remove and reinsert now. The cumberbund magazine pouches are nice, but not all that useful to the wearer. Maybe to another person near you for an emergency mag. The front rifle pouch is relatively accessible to the user. Any farther back than that and I can’t get to them. I am flexible enough to reach up between my own shoulder blades behind my back, just as a reference. Another reviewer mentioned pre setup placards. That would be a really cool. Have pre set ones for rifle, sub gun, med kit, etc would be awesome. Something upper-mid range quality like the carrier would be nice. Setting up multiple placards would get really pricey when buying individual stuff.

Amazing Build
Everything fits amazingly. The material is extremely durable and it’s an amazing carrier at a very fair price. Seems to be a great amount of adjustment for people of other sizes and makes training with plates much better. Will definitely be buying more shellback products.

Great carrier for a great price
If you are in the market for a carrier and don't want to spend a ton , this carrier is a great choice. Unit is well made , comfortable , and so far has performed well with level IV plates. The only con I have is that it is a bit bulkier than some of the higher priced models and wearing this under garments could be a challenge , though it can be done effectively. Would not hesitate to buy again.

what more could you want
So I don’t have a ton of experience with plate carriers. I had a condor tactical (forget the style) and it w as just plain uncomfortable in every aspect. I’ve always wanted to try a Shellback carrier and the time is right to give it a go. Once I got this one I adjusted it out to where I want it to fit, and man it’s something you can wear all day long. Fit and finish is unreal from some of the ones I’ve seen. Just big enough to get the job done but not big enough to be in the way. I’m not a small guy (6’1 215 semi athletic) and this feels like a natural fit to me.
