Spot on specs
I haven't shot these, so like any body armor, there is some trust in it's primary purpose. However, from what I can see without destroying the plates, is that the weight and dimensions are spot on. I purchased 4 plates and each weighed 5.7 lbs or 11.4 lbs for the pair. Given the price for a IV plate, that's remarkable. The finish is also top notch, honestly way above what I was expecting for the price. If I ever have $300 to burn (or Shellback wants to send me a plate, wink wink, nod nod) I guess throwing some lead at it is about the only thing left I could test.

These plates are awesome!! I can't believe I waited so long to pull the trigger and switch to ceramic from steel but my back thanks you. These are extremely high quality, lightweight plates that are a dream to wear for several hours, so much so that you almost forget you're wearing them. If you're looking for lightweight level 4 plates look no further.

Great fit
This is the plate to get. They cost more, but they are light weight and fit tighter to your body than the cheaper model version 1155MC. I wish I purchased these first instead of the cheaper model it is more like the traditional plates I was used to in the AMRY.

Impressive for the price
Great product at a great price. Great weight for a double set. Currently running these plates in a agility carrier, a little bit of work and persuasion was needed to get them in there but there is no room for unwanted movement and or shifting. Great plates, planing on showcasing these at our next sit down with a local SRT team. Thanks again guys. Lou

Very nice plates
While I haven't been shot while wearing these plates I will say that I would trust them to save my life based on the quality of them. The outer edges of these plates have a soft padding to keep them from being damaged and that is something that in my opinion is a testament to the quality of the product

Good product so far
Fortunately haven't been shot at so can't review that part of it. I'm using this as a front plate in my carrier and it fits my body well and is comfortable to wear all day. I'm using a Banshee II elite carrier.

Excellent Product and Stellar Staff
Just changed out the plates in my second shellback carrier to these plates. The weight difference from the first carrier sold me to use these plates on the second carrier as well.

Excellent Product, Great Weight, and Stellar Staff
Excellent staff will always be posted by me on all reviews. I really like this plates and the weight of them, no one thinks 2 lbs per plate less than what I was normally running or more weight than other plates would make that big of a difference, but it does. I notice this more when going in and out of the plate carrier. Also this is an upgrade for me since they are multi curved vs the single curved I was running which is better for impact.
