The Shellback Tactical Defender 2.0 Body Armor Kit with Level III+ Model P5mmSAO Armor Plates provides protection against level III and III+ rifle rounds. This body armor vest kit includes our Defender 2.0 plate carrier, carry bag and two level III+ Model P5mmSAO armor plates. The Defender 2.0 plate carrier is discreet, low profile and minimalistic. The level III+ model P5mmSAO ballistic plates are constructed of STAR 647 steel, NIJ 0101.06 Level III certified and special threat rated at level III+ stopping XM193 and M855 greentip. Rhino EX HP-50 coating provides protection against fragmentation and spall. This body armor kit comes with a convenient carry bag which allows for discreet transport and storage. The carry bag easily opens from the top for quick access to the armor vest which is optimal for active shooter response.
